Hint of Vintage; Sept Card Class

The September Card Workshop is Thursday, September 13, 5:30PM.  Cost is $5 to make these 3 cards.

The pink shades from the Oh What Fun paper pack inspired me to go vintage with some Christmas cards - even though in the end, that's not the paper I used.  I also dipped into the archives for the stamp sets - but you are working with some of the new products.
For this card I used the pink polka dots from Central Park.  There is some paper in the Oh What Fun pack that work with this too, but for a class, I didn't have quite enough.  The patterned background is a new stamp, D1805 Repeatable Backgrounds.  The pine branches are from a retired set, but you can achieve a similar look with B1632 Wonder of the Season.  The ornament is cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge.  If you missed getting this cartridge, I have one in my inventory.  Silver glitter was found in your vintage cards - A LOT, which makes them so fun.  Here I've used silver foil, silver shimmer trim, silver embellishing thread and silver gems.
The stamp on this card is retired, but the wow factor on this card is the new gloss texture paste. You can see a little of it in the picture. This card uses the new Carolina ink, Carolina and Bluebird papers, white glitter paper, stencil filmstitched oval dies and silver gems.

Again, another retired stamp set for this one.  The papers are from 'tis the Season.  For the candy canes, I split apart the sections of one of the paper houses from the new Season of Joy cartridge and cut it from the striped 'tis the Season paper.  The rows of glitter are Stickles. A little New England Ivy canvas bow and it's very vintage.
None of the cards have any sentiments - you can choose from my collection or add from your own.  There is a space on each where it could be added to the front, or you can just say something on the inside.
Card classes for the rest of the year will be Christmas cards.  This workshop introduces some cards that take a little time to create - but if there is one you want to copy for  your personal set of cards this year, there is plenty of time to get started!
