Hello Pumpkin Shaker Card

The Hello Pumpkin set for Halloween this year has some of the cutest stamps.  I don't usually send Halloween cards, but why not?  Who doesn't love the surprise card in the mail - whatever the reason?
Here's a picture tutorial on how I did it.

Trim the PML card to card size. Using the die from the Hello Pumpkin card kit, cut the PML card slightly to the left.

On a white piece of cardstock, just 1/2" smaller than the PML card, lightly pencil in the edges of your cut.

Stamp your pumpkin within the pencil marks, then erase the marks.

The pumpkin will peek through your PML card cut.

Use the thick roll of foam tape to build your sequin well.

Make a solid wall around the pumpkin, and add some foam tape of the same depth to the outer edges. Do not peel the paper from the tape until after you fill it with sequins.

Using regular adhesive, tape some clear film to the back of the cut on the PML card.  I use the film that comes as a cover on Cricut mats.

Add a pinch of sequins to the well you created. I used a large pinch, shown here but a smaller pinch would have worked well too, for this small space.

Peel the tape from the bottom and stick the PML card on top - matching up the pumpkin stamp with the cut.  Put this shaker piece on your card base.

Add your other decorations.  The ghost and candy corns are from the Hello Pumpkin scrapbooking set.  I sponged a little pebble on the edges of the ghost before I cut him.  The candy corns are colored with shin-han markers.  Both are fussy cut by hand and white spaces where touched up with the clear shimmer brush.
