Using up more scraps from the Huntington kit for the Color My Heart Dare of the week.
Some leftover olive Huntington paper (after I cut out leaves for the scrapbook pages and the candle) fit the bill just right. I randomly sponged autumn terracotta and goldrush ink on colonial cardstock, then glued the cutout down. It's just wrapped with autumn terracotta bakers twine with a few sparkles. Took me a couple minutes (and scrolling down to a prior post) to figure out how you made this card, but now I get it. What a fabulous way to use up scraps and create a unique Fall card at the same time. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us over a Color My Heart. I would NOT have thought of this, but now I'm anxious to give your "technique" a try.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever use of negative pieces and scraps! Your card is so pretty -- and like Becca said, I think I'm gonna have to try this! Thanks for taking this week's Color Dare!
