Mystical Memories

Welcome back!

Mushrooms are not a theme that fit well with most of my adventures, but how often do you meet a troll?  This is Mama Zelda, a new Thomas Dambo Troll at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens.  If you search his name, you can find many locations where he has placed trolls.  If you are travelling, it might be fun to see if you can find one nearby.

The title was created on Cricut Design Space.  The big mushroom in the title and the smaller mushrooms are cut from holographic paper.  The mats are 4x6, with some of the pictures being printed smaller.  On the right page, I let the squares overlap the edge, then trimmed it off.  More mushrooms are stamped along the bottom.  Unlike the layout from last week, I used five 6x6 sheets for this project.  The smaller rectangles on the left page are 2x4, then I used the other side of the remaining 6x4 piece as a mat for the photos to the left of the small rectangle.  I didn't use much of the 5th piece, just the stripes underneath.   I have the stripes overlapping on the left side, with the small gap between pieces covered by mushrooms on the right.

To get the most out of the cardstock, all my largest mats start as 4x6's.  The secondary mat and the pictures are then trimmed 1/4" smaller for each consecutive layer.

Happy scrapping (and troll hunting!),
Dawn
