Entering the Color Dare again - it was hard not to throw some sweet leaf in here to get a good rainbow! A little VersaMark, a little black embossing powder, then the foam tool to add some blush and buttercup. I'm still not an expert with the black powder, but I hear practice makes perfect.
Here are my first couple of trys.
Love these pretty, sunny projects! You had lots of fun mixing the challenge colours! I esp like the mixed colour-stamping on your second card, those beautiful stacked flowers and the yellow butterfly on the second one. Thanks for joining the crew at Color My Heart this week. We hope to see your creations again.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on struggling to keep green out of...oh, wait. I added green to my project. :) Anyway, I literally gasped at these creations. Just beautiful!! Thanks for joining us at Color My Heart and inspiring us with your lovely work. We look forward to seeing more of you!
ReplyDeleteJulia--all your cards are lovely yet I do love the first one with the pastel background the most. I love the beautiful effect you created with the blending tool. Thanks for playing along with us at Color My Heart Color Dare--we appreciate your participation!

First card is my favorite too. The pretty background makes the black images pop out. I like all of the sparkles, especially the butterfly body.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards and how you combined the colors. Thanks for joining us at Color My Heart this week.
